Yin Yoga is a Taoist-based passive practice. In this class we hold deep stretches supported by props for 2-6 minutes. This allows us to open up and expand through connective tissues (fascia/ligaments/tendons/joint fluids) and meridian lines that run throughout our bodies. This class is ideal for anyone looking to create more stillness in their mind and release in their body. Weather you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned practitioner, come and explore the softer side of yoga.
We end this class with a guided deep relaxation. It is said that ten minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep. This class will surely help start your week out right! No experience necessary, simply come as you are.
